a portrait of my girls, once a week, every week in 2014
A new bike for my big girl, complete with pedals and princesses. A whole new adventure of learning to ride a bike- one of the hardest and yet fundamental lessons to learn. How to get up again after falling. How to try something scary even though all your instincts say no.
New shades for my little girl who loves her balance bike and loves sharing a bike adventure with her big sister. Her only limit is as fast as her legs can take her. She is always ready to smile for a picture, stopping and giving her biggest grin.
Spring, you are a welcome gift.

Love those little big girls! Thanks for the balance bike tip (via your hubs, I think)–our little big girl loves hers :).
Oh how awesome! Kilm loved hers, until she grew too tall for it. I love it too. =)
I am loving spring! My son never really took to learning the Strider bike, so I think I need to spring for a “real” bike with training wheels so he can start trying to ride it.
My older daughter grew out of her balance bike super fast so we’re going straight to a ‘real bike’ (her words). Spring is perfect this year!
Hooray for bicycles!!! What a marvelous thing to do on a sunny Spring day. 🙂
I’m wishing I had one too, it’s glorious to be out and about again!
